|We Had A Lot To Be Thankful For In 2015
As we approach the Holiday season, it’s nice to look back on the kind of year we had. Business has been excellent and is continuing to be strong. With the economy recovering, people have devoted assets and energy into their homes. The holidays are all about home and family. When you upgrade your interior with new floor and window covering, you make your home more inviting for family and guests.
The hottest trend this year has been Luxury Vinyl Tile (or LVT). LVT styles look like wood or porcelain tile, but offer ease of maintenance, superior water resistance, exceptional durability and incredible style. You can have the look of handcrafted hardwood in your kitchen, bath or laundry without ever having to worry about spills or refinishing. The price is very attractive too.
Custom made area rugs have been very popular, also. The larger rooms in the Danville area can look empty when only smaller area rugs are available in the pre-made styles. If you have a wide staircase, you will probably want a runner other than those available “off the shelf.” We have hundreds of patterned carpet styles from Tuftex and Masland, as well as imported styles from Stanton , Kane and others just right for crafting a high fashion area rug or runner of virtually any size. The right rug can “make” a room.
We also had a chance to do the flooring in the new David M. Brian store that opened this year in the Livery. On the commercial side, we installed new flooring in the kitchen of the Alamo Woman’s Club. While we specialize in residential work, we love the opportunity use our skills to find and install floors that require almost industrial durability and still look beautiful.
So as your family gathers for the holiday season, enjoy your home and all the comfort it provides. And thanks to you from all of us.
